I started Slick Satan as a lockdown hobby, and have been running it full-time for over four years, creating art inspired by vintage fashion and pinups that sells worldwide.
I also offer custom commission work for both personal and commercial clients.
A big reason why I turned my art into a business was the opportunities for branding and building an aesthetic world beyond just the work itself.
Of all the exciting projects I’ve gotten to participate in, easily the most special was when I was given free reign to design the visuals for Marina’s 2022 World Tour.
With a teenage Tumblr archive full of vintage comic scans and Marina photoshoot images, this was a textbook full circle moment, and a whirlwind of fan response I’ll never forget.
It’s not lost on me that drawing imaginary fierce women has led to me working with real life ones. I’m so proud of what I’ve built and grown by embracing my creative side, and I’m excited to see what’s next!
